“Mysore.AI” – World’s first green AI chatbot
Fourth Industrial revolution is going to be lead by AI (Artificial Intelligence). Although AI was introduced to the world through a paper published by Alan Turing in 1950, AI created a new sensation among the masses around the world through the Generative AI supported chatbot ChatGPT developed by OpenAI on November 30, 2022. The next two years, AI-supported chatbots developed by American companies such as ChatGPT (OpenAI), Llama (Meta), Gemeni (Google) and CoPilot (Microsoft) were on everyone’s lips. Right at the beginning of 2025, when US President Trump announced an investment of five hundred billion US dollars in the field of AI, everyone decided that America would have the upper hand in the fourth industrial revolution.
When the world started believing that the development of such AI technology requires NVIDIA GPU chips that provide continuous computational power, large data centers, a lot of electricity, water, AI experts and money, a Chinese company introduced an AI supported chatbot called deepseek to the world. Its specialty is that the cost and time taken for it is a hundred times less than the above-mentioned American AI-supported chatbots and it can be run on a normal computer with no GPU or low GPU and can be used for free since it is open source. This is a major turning point in AI-supported chatbot technology, as we, the AI experts of many countries like India, got the boost that they can also create their own AI applications using less resources like deepseek, instead of being users of American AI-supported chatbot technology. In this article, I am going to tell you about the “mysuru.ai” or “mysore.ai” AI-supported chatbot created by Vigyan Labs from my own city, Mysore. “mysore.ai” was launched on 15th February 2025 at the CyberShield Mysuru Symposium. You can use it for free on your phone or computer’s web browser by typing the URL www.mysore.ai.
Significant features of “mysore.ai” :-
- World’s first sustainable green AI chatbot: It runs on a datacenter that is powered by solar energy and uses zero water.
- Runs on a micro datacenter: It uses zero GPU and runs on a datacenter the size of a small house.
- Fully hosted in Mysore: The questions and prompts you give it never leave Mysore, so your data is safe and is not used for any commercial transactions.
- No login required: It can be used without providing any personal details like a current email address or phone number.
- Supports DeepSeek and Llama: It internally calls the world-renowned DeepSeek and Meta’s Llama generative AI paradigms hosted in Mysore.

Vigyan Labs has provided many new technologies in the first version of “mysore.ai” with low resources and time, modern technologies such as datacenter and AI-powered chatbot, and also have obtained many patents for it. They aim to introduce many new features in the upcoming versions. Srinivas Varadarajan, CEO of Vigyan Labs, says – “Vigyanlabs has been at the forefront of developing planet friendly cloud technologies for over a decade saving 1000s of gigawatts of energy. Mysore.ai is a manifestation of our various innovations. We are presenting our technology stack to the world after years of research and development leading to this LLM platform becoming the world’s first green AI powered entirely using solar energy”.
